– The format is a dialog (conversation between friends, or family members) about some past experience (trip, vacation, a memorable day) with questions and answers (see the dialog p.245 as an example).
– The tenses to be used are le passe compose (pp. 191- 194), and l’imparfait (p.249). You can also use any remarks in present tense, of course. Use i’imparfait to describe some settings (what was it like), e.g. Il faisait beau, Le soleil brillait, la plage etait tres belle,and some habitual/repetitive actions with the words like souvent, tout le temps, tous les jours, etc. e.g. Tous les jours nous allions a la plage.
– You will have to use questions with pronoms interrogatifs (pp. 212) which were part of the quiz, e.g. Avec qui est-ce tu es parti en vancances?, Qui est-ce que vous avez visite? etc. You can also use any other question words you want. Refer to the questions that were in your quiz which we reviewed on Thursday.
– You will have to use les pronoms COD and COI in your questions/answers, e.g. Nous avons visite la galerie d’art. – Vous l’avez aimee? J’ai ecrit une carte a mes parents. Je leur ai envoye encore un souvenir.
Your vocabulary mark depends on the variety of words you use and the flow of the conversation.
Your grammar mark depends on the proper use of the tenses, questions, COD/COI, as well as overall grammar structure of the sentence (articles, endings, agreement).
The length is one page, but the mark is more about the quality than quantity.
